The Great Carriage Trade City Mug Challenge

Welcome to the great Carriage Trade City Mug Challenge where we will endeavour to build our Starbuck's City Coffee Mug collection both physically in our store and virtually on our website.   We are aiming to collect all 272 mugs, but we can't really do that without your help.
So here's the Challenge. If you are visiting a city somewhere in the world that has a Starbucks, we want you to bring us back the coffee mug for that city. ( But first check this website to be sure that we do not already have that mug. )  Not only will we reimburse you for the mug but we will also apply a $15.00 “Thank You”  credit memo to your in store account for future garment cleanings.

As you can see from the pictures at the top of the page, our collection is better than half way right now.  We are now in the home stretch, but we need your help.
Keep your eye on this webpage where we will be updating our collection each time a new mug comes through our doors.
Here is a little background about the city mugs.  Starbucks City Mugs first appeared in 1994.  Between 1994 and 2008 they have evolved to what they refer to as the “Global” series.

Every City Mug design was matched to the market or city.  In 2008, Starbucks began the  ‘Global’ series. They can be found in 223 international locations, and in 52 locations across the US and Canada.

Let’s make this a fun and interactive project that reflects on the diverse multi cultural travel patterns of our Durham Regional community.
