We are not responsible for articles not claimed. Unclaimed garments will be handled in accordance with provincial regulations.
Garment Care & Stain Removal
We take pride in handling every garment with professional care, using industry-standard cleaning methods and solvents. However:
We do not guarantee complete removal of all stains.
Certain stains—depending on their age, composition, or any prior attempts at removal—may be permanent. While we will make every effort to clean your item thoroughly and safely, some marks may remain.
We prioritize fabric integrity.
Our team will not attempt aggressive stain removal methods that could risk damage to your garment. In cases where further treatment could cause harm, we may stop and notify you.
Payment Obligation
Payment is required for all garments that have undergone cleaning and/or pressing services, regardless of the final stain outcome. Our fees reflect the time, materials, and professional care involved in treating each item—not just the end result.
If a stain cannot be removed, our team will communicate this when possible, but this does not exempt the garment from standard service charges.
Garments Previously Treated Elsewhere
We are not responsible for any effects resulting from prior treatments, cleaning attempts, or damage from other cleaners. Previous handling may limit the effectiveness or safety of further cleaning.
Inspection & Claims
Customers are encouraged to inspect garments upon pick-up. Any concerns regarding the service must be reported within 48 hours of receiving the item. Claims made beyond this timeframe may not be honored.
Limit of Liability
While we handle all items with care, Carriage Trade Dry Cleaners is not liable for:
Minor shrinkage, colour loss, or texture change.
Stains that cannot be removed without damaging the garment.
Accessories, beads, buttons, or decorations unless noted in advance.
By Using Our Services, You Agree That:
You understand that not all stains can be removed.
You agree to pay for the cleaning/pressing service even if some stains remain.
You release Carriage Trade Dry Cleaners from any liability for damage while garments are in our care.
